LINDSAY MAY SNEAK OUT OF REHAB EARLY TOO
2010-08-13 09:17:47
"Soda Head" Lohan might be let out of rehab after 45 days... instead of the court ordered 90 days. Although not the likeliest scenario in the world.. Stranger things have happened!
It's looking like Lindsay Lohan may be sneaking out of rehab early, just like she did with jail. Great system we have in the US.
Lindsay was ordered to stay 90 days in an in-patient rehab program at UCLA Medical Center for drug addiction as well as psychiatric issues. Here's the thing... The particular program that Lindsay is in typically lasts only 45 days or so..
The new judge assigned to Lindsay's case (Elden Fox), will more than likely be asked to decide on what to do with Lindz for the remaining 45 days. Although it's a very unlikely scenario, Fox could release Lindsay from UCLA and place her in outpatient care.
Another thing that Lindsay has going against her is the fact that it's somewhat common for a patient to repeat the program over again once he/she is finished with it the first time. Apparently, patients tend to absorb significantly more the second time around so that doesn't seem like too bad of an idea for Lohan being that she has a history of not doing what she's told the first time around. Even though this is her 4th time in rehab... it might help.
More than likely, Judge Fox will follow the doctors' recommendations, so it looks like it's in their hands.
Considering Lindsay is only 11 days into the whole rehab thing.. there is plenty of time for her caregivers to make a decision.
