ZSA ZSA GABOR GOES HOME TO DIE =(
2010-08-18 07:06:59
Gabor decides to go home from the hospital for her final days after being read her "Last Rites". She will die a pauper. After all her years of hard work, she will be dying almost homeless because that scumbag Bernie Madoff stole her savings in his ponzi scheme.
Zsa Zsa Gabor wants to spend her final days alive at home and according to her publicist, she checked out of the hospital Monday afternoon to do just that
The legendary actress, who asked for a priest "to read her the last rites" Sunday, is suffering complications from a hip-replacement surgery she had last month, but she and her husband decided against additional surgery, her publicist John Blanchette said.
Doctors told the 93-year-old showbiz legend the chances of success from the procedure was 50-50 shot, so she chose to go home instead of chancing it.
An ambulance carried the actress from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles to her home in Bel Air, California.
"The doctors did everything they could do," her husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, said. "The rest is up to her to whether she recovers or not."
And as if this weren't enough, it's been widely reported that Gabor and her husband are in serious financial trouble after losing $10m to Bernie Madoff in his billion dollar ponzie scheme.
"It's terribly sad," a source said. "To have such a fabulous life come down to possibly being booted into the street just brings you to tears."
"If she hadn't gotten caught up in Madoff's scheme, Zsa Zsa could go out in the style to which she has been accustomed, but now, she's in the same boat as others who bet their life-savings on the silver-tongued sales pitches of con men."
"The thought of Zsa Zsa going out penniless is tragic. It's a sad final act in a life that she lived to the fullest."
Very sad..
